Job Description:

The primary responsibility for the Engagement Manager (EPIC) is to ensure consulting services delivery excellence within assigned client engagements. Additionally, the Engagement Manager will provide sales assistance including the scoping and resourcing for the specific client solution proposed. Other key areas of focus include working with The IN Group team to identify and package new consulting services offerings, and 30% client billable utilization



  • Perform billable consulting services realizing 30% billable utilization
  • Work with the sales team to identify, solution, and close consulting services business
  • Staff client engagements and provide leadership and delivery excellence oversight; Engagement manager is responsible for all consulting performance while engaged with the client
  • Act as primary leadership point of contact with client executive team in both validating conditions of satisfaction and in securing follow-on consulting services business
  • Work with other members of the IN Group consulting team to identify and package new consulting offerings
  • Work with Marketing to create case studies and other marketing/sales collateral
  • Participate as a thought leader in the healthcare industry writing papers and presenting at recognized healthcare IT conferences
  • Assist IN Group president in carrying out business plan and take ownership in driving key program initiatives


Education and Skill Set:

  • Minimum 10 years of healthcare consulting industry experiences with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in EPIC with the ability to demonstrate subject matter expert capabilities
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as, a strong understanding of information systems design, integration and functionality required
  • Ability to interact with client executive team and to be viewed as a peer
  • Ability to work and collaborate with others in a cross-functional team setting.
