We are looking for a Technology Project Manager to join the team who loves to lead/coordinate teams and build first of kind, ground breaking applications that have been changing the way doctors and clinicians worldwide interact with and care for their patients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage new development projects for new features (estimating, planning, execution, tracking progress, reporting)
  • Resource planning and tracking with dev manager to continually improve planning through more accurate estimates (level of effort, start time, etc.)
  • Traffic fixes and updates through development to release
  • Promote a collaborative, solution-oriented team environment
  • Ensure scrum rituals are followed to promote optimal team performance
  • Track cross-product dependencies
  • Work with the product owner, dev manager, and product team to ensure the roadmap is updated, accurate, and visible to all stakeholders
  • Facilitate backlog grooming with the product owner and development
  • Continual Agile process improvement, in collaboration with key stakeholders

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate project performance metrics through dashboards and reports, maintaining data to ensure accurate information
  • Communicate project risks / impacts / proposed mitigations

In a fast moving environment with a rapidly expanding product like Backline, additional responsibilities for this role would also include:

  • Work with implementation and training, support, and sales training teams to ensure Backline offerings are operationalized
  • Improve cross-team communication
  • Strengthen release management
  • Implement formal beta process
  • Focus on overall SDLC workflow

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in project management with focus on building scalable software solutions
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodology
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related discipline (MS/PHD preferred)
  • Passionate about technology
  • Organized, methodological approach to building software
  • Well versed with common software development best practices
