The Division: The DrFirst Inside Sales Team is the primary point of contact for small to midsized physician groups, small Hospitals, and ambulatory Medical Clinics. This highly dynamic and solution- focused group is expected to hit the phones on a daily basis, direct call, cold call, respond to inbound leads, demo our solutions, and close the deal to convert new users.

The Position: You as an Inside Sales Representative are directly selling our cutting edge, award winning, healthcare software solutions, primarily focused around iPrescribe. We provide tools so that you can focus on generating business, building strong relationships while enabling our sales organization to do multi-solution selling, launch and support new products, and help and engage our users.  This is an exciting opportunity for sales professionals to join an innovative organization and be a part of the healthcare IT space.  If you love the thrill of the hunt and sealing the deal we want you on our team!


  • Educating current and prospective clients on the healthcare landscape around e-prescribing and increasing mandates
  • Creating a network of providers on DrFirst’s mobility platform to create virality and build community affect
  • Understanding of internal processes and on-boarding of new clients to assist with implementation of iPrescribe
  • Break through previous EMR boundaries to educate new provider bases on iPrescribe and the ever-changing dynamic of mobile e-prescribing
  • Present DrFirst and yourself as ‘thought leaders’ around the Opioid crisis and how iPrescribe can effectively combat this
  • Continued understanding/learning of the EMR and new business landscape to effectively promote iPrescribe
  • Effectively manage the sales life cycle: lead generation, building pipeline, accurate forecasting, product demos, implementation, etc.
  • Continue developing robust industry knowledge and building successful challenger techniques
  • Creative thinking outside the box to help increase sales momentum and opportunities



  • Proven track record in sales and achievements in a sales related position
  • Ability to promote and/or sell a software solution
  • Basic industry understanding around e-prescribing and mandates
  • Willingness to constantly learn and be dynamic in approaches
  • Ability to close sales via the phone and reflect a high comfort level in speaking with clients
  • Successful lead generation and understanding of clients’ needs
  • "Hunter" mentality to drive and convert new business

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4-year College Degree or
  • 1-2 years of direct sales experience
