Overview

DrFirst, a pioneer in healthcare IT solutions, is seeking an individual to lead our patient recruitment solutions sales efforts in the CRO, Research, and Patient Recruitment markets.  The Sales Rep will effectively promote participation in DrFirst solutions.

The Sales Rep is responsible for leading sales efforts in generating new business relationships from the CRO, Clinical Research, Patient Recruitment, Life Sciences and Market Research (Patient Reported Outcomes) markets, as well as for supporting recurring sales within DrFirst’s existing client base in these markets.

In addition to owning and executing on a well vetted sales plan, the Sales Rep will deliver against sales targets and influence product strategy by timely communications back to the appropriate stakeholders.

Success is defined as:

  • Penetrating new and existing accounts with a keen focus on meeting and or exceeding your assigned quota:
  • Building momentum in and owning the markets in which you are engaged and delivering on all commitments to clients and to DrFirst.

The successful candidate will be innovative, passionate, and driven with the ability to foster strong client relationships, meet sales quotas, and drive awareness of DrFirst products, within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.  Every sale is unique, so the ability to navigate a complex sale where multiple stakeholders exist is critical and vastly important to the success of this key role.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Responsibilities: Prospecting into the CRO, Market Research (Patient Reported Outcomes), Life Sciences and Patient Recruitment markets.  Responsibilities include prospecting, contracting, expense management, marketing coordination, trade show participation, etc.;
  • Maintain active ongoing dialogue with all customers to coordinate meetings between internal stakeholders and customers where appropriate and necessary;
  • The Sales Rep will own the relationship with the customer, and should seek to position themselves as the point for all communications related to sales;
  • Work with internal team members to develop collateral and web site relevance for Clinical Research product offerings;
  • Work with internal team members to develop and maintain a robust data base of clients and prospects using NetSuite to achieve sales goals and corporate informational / reporting goals;
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and support customer sales efforts – to include but not limited to sales calls, trade shows, corporate initiatives / meetings;
  • Execute against a comprehensive sales plan;
  • Drives sales vision utilizing proven best practice methodology and associated processes to generate results;
  • Identify and develop business opportunities across markets;
  • Pursue and nurture trusted advisor relationships with prospects, ultimately focused on driving client value and recurring sales;
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of DrFirst product solution set, and the supporting value proposition and ROI
  • Through logical needs assessment understand client needs to accelerate adoption and ensure customer satisfaction;
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified sales opportunities required to meet quota.

Qualifications

Education & Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of proven over-the-top sales success

  • Action-oriented, results -oriented, assertive attitude, capable of developing a strong business case for client action and the skills to bring those to close
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry including current workflow, regulatory challenges, emerging trends, and supporting technology
  • Ability to communicate successfully with all levels across the multidisciplinary healthcare landscape

Physical Requirments:  

  • 50% travel
