Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for working closely with one or multiple new business representatives to execute on sales functions resulting in new business for DrFirst.  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: New client research, follow up on marketing campaigns, sales development calls, new client development, meeting scheduling, and assistance with account planning. The SDR is integral to the success of every sale and can progress to a sales role with demonstrated performance.

What you will work on

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and assigned BD reps
  • Record sales activities in appropriate systems
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Assist BD reps in the generation of account plans for key targets
  • Research, Identify, and Prospect for New Clients
  • Assist in the development of sales presentations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years sales experience including cold calling
  • Desire and passion for a long-term career in sales
  • Ability to engage client and qualify opportunities
  • Ability to coordinate across teams to drive successfully obtaining objectives
  • Track record of achieving required sales metrics
  • Able to demonstrate time management, basic telesales skills, knowledge of products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate software solutions 
  • Able to demonstrate critical thinking skills to acquire a higher-level understanding of role, processes, and procedures within the sales organization
