    Position Overview

    The Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible for independently maintaining customer relationships, guiding customers through integration of the DrFirst products and advising them on workflows, best practices, etc. 

    The Integration team is responsible for interacting with our customer base to understand their workflows and how the DrFirst product suite can be integrated seamlessly. The Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible to independently work with various customers to provide guidance on the best possible workflows which meet the industry and DrFirst requirements. The Senior Integration Engineer will also work with various other teams at DrFirst and serve as a liason for the customer.

    • Leading: Through hands-on involvement, our Integration Engineers are responsible for bringing multiple partner integrations through successful certification and beta client launches.

This takes critical thinking, root cause analysis, and issue dissection with the customer and DrFirst team to come up with the best solution. You will assist in resolving technical issues submitted by Partners and Enterprise clients. This will include working closely with our support team and managing escalations to development.
    • Mentoring: Coaching and advising is an integral part of this role. We want people who want to share their experiences, best practices and knowledge to elevate the team as a whole.

You will be responsible for assisting with technical consultations to prospective customers with the Partners sales team and for managing internal technical projects on behalf of Integration Services. This requires working with managers from other divisions of DrFirst. Being skilled at managing competing priorities, pivoting and adjusting quickly, and thinking about the big picture are keys to success.


    • Graduate degree or Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, information management or equivalent experience in implementing IT solutions
    • Proven success in managing complex customer relationships
    • Excellent analytical abilities and strong communication skills
    • Five to seven (3-5) years in Project Management and leading complex projects, familiar with Project Management tools- MS Project, Smart sheet, etc.
    • Experience with various IT project lifecycle process. Past experience with Agile methodology preferred
    • Proven experience working with, XML, JSON, HL7 and other API based integrations
    • Knowledge of SDK’s along with SaaS and client-server architectures
    • Working knowledge of networking, server client architecture, familiar with various protocols, i.e.; http, https, TCP/UDP, SSH, SSL certs
    • Experience supporting sales activities as technical resource is desirable
    • Demonstrated work experience in hands on technical project delivery with internal and/or external customers. Covering full project timeline project initiation to project delivery
    • Demonstrated work experience in documenting processes and technical implementation guides
    • Previous experience in the healthcare IT industry *is a plus
    • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira *is a plus
    • IT certification like MCSE, MCSA, MCSD *are a plus
