    Position Overview

    The Strategic Partner Account Manager is responsible for the overall product integration, service and operational success of a contracted Partner relationship.  You are the “go to” contact and expert, for the Partner relationships you manage, to effectively set product, project, operational and adoption plans and manage them to successful outcomes.  A successful Strategic Partner Account Manager brings a sophisticated business, project management, operational and service experience to managing B2B partnerships and know how to deliver results. You will put your experience and expertise to use managing a small but high-value book of business to fulfill contract obligations, ongoing service/support and assisting to drive maximum adoption by end-users. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will succeed by establishing strong relationships with our Partners’ functional and executive leaders to execute defined plans, track performance against goals and discover ways to enhance service and end-user utilization. You will consult and work with customers to achieve mutual business and quality goals in the midst of competing priorities.  Close collaboration and coordination with other teams within DrFirst will be critical to being effective for the company and the customers you manage.

    What you will work on

    What you’ll do:

    • Project Management: Paramount to each Partner customer’s success is the development and launch of a high-quality integration of our mutual products. Strategic Account Managers are responsible for timely project delivery that positions their accounts for long-term success. This requires managing detailed project plans, securing resources in a matrixed environment, and providing executive communication on the progress for each project to ensure alignment across our organization.
    • Relationship Building: DrFirst is constantly bringing innovative solutions and products to the market. For an account manager to successfully launch those products into their accounts, they must have broad and deep relationships within their customers organization. Strategic Account Managers continually expand and develop existing and new relationships within a Partner customer.
    • Ensure Operational Excellence: Strategic Account Managers maintain the standard for how service is delivered for their accounts. This includes but is not limited to integration, implementation, support, and product releases. You will  build relationships with internal teams to ensure each player is clear on their role and service expectations  to meet best-practices, service level agreements, quality and contract obligations.
    • Problem solving: The problems we encounter and resolve for our accounts are unique and complex. This takes critical thinking, root cause analysis, and issue dissection with the customer and our team to produce the best solution.
    • Coach and Mentor: Teaching and coaching is an integral part of this role. We want people who want to share their experiences, best practices and knowledge to elevate the team.

    Qualifications

    What you should have done/ What you bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • At least 8 years’ experience in Account Management
    • Ethic for coaching and mentoring peers
    • Proven success developing relationships with C-Level executives
    • Created, executed, and maintained detailed account plans for key accounts
    • Demonstrated work experience managing projects in a matrix environment
    • Professional experience understanding and working with SaaS based businesses
    • Experience developing, documenting and managing operational processes as a core part of their daily responsibilities
