    Position Overview

    Program Description: Summer programs at DrFirst provide an opportunity to spend a summer working at DrFirst side-by-side with our staff to create innovative technology that makes an impact on the healthcare market. Internships cover a minimum of eight weeks, with students generally arriving at the DrFirst in late May or early June. Students will complete designated projects while also supporting the teams they are part of, gaining educational experience in their fields of study while also contributing to DrFirst initiatives. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a number of enrichment activities, including lectures and career advisement, career/professional development workshops, and intern team building events.  We have opportunities throughout the organization in ares such as technology, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Business Development and Operations.

    What you will work on

    • Responsibilities will vary by department; specific tasks to be assigned by hiring managers
    • All interns will complete a project to be assigned at the start of the internship and will participate in a final presentation at the end of the summer
    • Participation in weekly training and professional development sessions


    • Results-oriented with an eagerness to learn
    • Must be available to start work by June 10, 2019
    • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
