Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned product management leader to spearhead the development and launch of our revolutionary pharmacy interoperability platform. This role partners closely with business leaders to identify, evaluate, and confirm product strategy, roadmap, and execution plans, making it a unique opportunity to shape a product from its inception. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in pharmacy product management, strategic vision, and the ability to drive a launch and scale an enterprise product. This role works closely with VP of Product and colleagues on the product and development teams assuring alignment of a unified solution for strategy, interoperability, and technology.

What you will work on

Product Development & Delivery

  • Lead an integrated (Product, UX, Eng, QA) application team from concept to production deployment and delivery of services.
  • Expand the Clinical Decision Support capabilities of the ePrescribing Workflow
  • Formalize processes for clinical input and testing of product lines for go to market readiness (feedback testing, clinical workflow, click reduction).
  • Help to standardize methodologies for measurement of success of product line rollouts, such as identifying the metrics we will use to declare success and/or failure from a clinical perspective.

Thought Leadership

  • Play a prominent public role representing our product strategy, interpreting industry trends and representing the Corporate Development team at various external events (conferences, social media, press interviews)  
  • Stay current in the field of medical and pharmacological informatics as well as industry trends, regulatory implications and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with and provide clinical expertise to our Data Analytics team.

Market Discovery, Evaluation, and Validation

  • Partner deeply with Corporate BD, business, and product segment leaders to proactively engage target market segment customers to confirm high-value use-cases for product capabilities. 
  • Organize a strategy and execution plan with business leaders for advancing customer engagement, reviews, and decisions for product roadmap in a coordinated way.  
  • Use your expertise to help the organization navigate pharmacy side technology and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with additional post-graduate degree in a clinical field (RN, Pharmacy, Doctorate, etc.) highly desired
  • Experience & Leadership: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in product management within the pharmacy or healthcare sector
  • Product Management: Demonstrated leadership in managing product teams.Expertise in authoring product requirements and overseeing product lifecycle management. 
  • Strategic Planning and Vision: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful go-to-market strategies, along with the ability to craft and sell a compelling product vision that aligns with business objectives and market needs.
  • Pharmacy Industry Expertise: Must possess deep industry expertise of pharmacy business practices, including specialty pharmacy operations, customer service, audit management of pharmacy IT systems, point of sale systems, claims adjudication systems, and management of third-party relationships.
  • Specialty Pharmacy Expertise: Proven experience in specialty pharmacy practices with a focus on managing pharmacy operations and IT systems.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial minded

Physical Requirements

  • 70% Desk work
  • 30% Remote travel to client sites, conferences, or internal team meetings

  • Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $175,000 - $190,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
