Position Overview

The Vice President of Brand Analytics is responsible for overseeing and advancing the analytical capabilities that drive performance for adherence programs and measure overall effectiveness of the Timely platform. This individual will lead a high-performing team that leverages data-driven insights to inform product strategy and optimize investments for pharmaceutical clients.

What you will work on

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Lead the evolution of brand analytics by introducing cutting-edge methodologies, tools, and technologies.
    • Serve as a thought leader in the organization, advocating for a data-driven culture and ensuring that analytics are integral to decision-making processes.
  • Brand Performance Measurement:
    • Oversee the design and implementation of metrics and KPIs that accurately measure adherence programs and ROI on client investments using test and control methodologies.
    • Collaborate with product, and sales teams to align on client proposals, key brand objectives and measure their success.
  • Customer & Market Insights:
    • Leverage qualitative and quantitative data, including customer segmentation, behavioral analysis, and sentiment analysis to improve proposals for pharma clients.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activities to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
    • Provide actionable insights that inform product development, adherence programs, and overall product strategy.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Partner with senior leaders across product, engineering and sales to align on strategic priorities and drive product performance.
    • Present complex analytical findings and insights to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
    • Act as the “voice of the Pharma” within the organization, ensuring that customer insights are at the forefront of product related decisions.
  • Team Development & Management:
    • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Data Scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
    • Coach team members for career growth, ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
    • Master’s degree in Statistics or Data Science.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in brand analytics, marketing analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
    • Extensive experience supporting brands in the development of adherence programs.
    • Hands-on practice in marketing mix, attribution, and promotion response analytics.
    • Expertise in multiple drug therapeutic classes, treatment decisions, and patient journeys.
    • Lifelong learner, inspired by genuine desire improve health outcomes.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Team leadership fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Coaching and mentoring skills to support team members’ career growth.
    • Technical expertise in segmentation and targeting, choice/conjoint analysis, experimental design, causal/driver models, forecasting, message sequencing, market structure, marketing mix models, and concept testing.
    • Practice in primary and secondary analytics with patient-level data, prescriber analysis, marketing channels, digital data, outcome data, strategic designs.
    • Deep understanding of branded drug strategies, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau) and data management tools.

  • Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $200,000 - $260,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
  • Eligible for Company Performance-based Bonus Program, based on individual and company performance
