Currently this position is full-time and allows candidates to work remotely. Please note that all candidates must confirm they have high-speed internet and a quiet, secure location, as you will be presenting proprietary information to a large group and cannot be in a public space.  There may be opportunities for travel in the future if clients request on-site training, but travel is not required for this role.  This is a salaried position. 

 

The Training Specialist is responsible for providing live training sessions to clients. They are also responsible for maintaining the calendar of live events and attendees list within the DrFirst Healthiverse Academy learning management system.  

What you will work on

Training consists of hosting and leading live tutorials with customers and answering questions from the audience about on how to use DrFirst’s software and product lines in physician practices, hospitals, and in other healthcare settings. The Training Specialist is also responsible for working closely with the Project Management team during the client implementation process to drive product utilization and continue adoption of the various applications implemented. 

 

When not providing live training, the Training Specialist will also be responsible for answering questions from customers within our support center that could help influence the training curriculum. They will work closely with our internal documentation and product teams to develop and update appropriate content within the learning management system for use within the live training curriculum

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills. 
  • A confident and commanding presence on camera. 
  • Ability to create and maintain client facing documentation and reference materials. 
  • Basic understanding of technical and common healthcare terminology. 
  • Knowledge of basic customer support and experience working in Zendesk. 
  • Ability to maintain discretion in dealing with confidential matters with our customers. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task across interactions in phone, email, and messaging platforms. 
  • Ability to learn from interactions and analyze personal performance to improve and respond well in a rapidly growing and changing environment. 
  • Ability to work without sponsorship. 
  • Video editing experience is a plus. 

Physical Requirements

This role is 90% remote with 10% travel.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

  • Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $50,000 - $70,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
