Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic college intern with a strong foundation in computer science and hands-on experience in Java programming. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside experienced developers on meaningful projects. 

 

This is a full-time position that will span over the course of 10 weeks. The program will start Monday, June 2nd, 2024 and end Friday, August 8th.

What you will work on

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with team members in agile development environments.
  • Help with documentation and user guides for internal tools or applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Research and implement solutions to technical challenges.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic software development principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Knowledge of additional programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
  • Exposure to Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
  • Experience with basic web development (HTML/CSS/JS).
  • Previous internship or personal projects related to software development.
