Position Overview

The Marketing team is looking for a research and analytics-focused intern with a passion for emerging technologies, especially AI. In this role, you’ll explore how marketing data, automation, and generative tools can work together to drive better decision-making and more scalable content production. 

Your projects may include supporting dashboard development, evaluating generative AI platforms, and assisting in trend research and reporting. You’ll gain hands-on experience across marketing operations while contributing to high-impact internal initiatives. 

This is a full-time position that will span over the course of 10 weeks. The program will start Monday, June 2nd, 2024 and end Friday, August 8th.

What you will work on

  • Experiment with AI APIs and automation tools (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Zapier) to streamline marketing workflows and prototype internal tools 
  • Explore light coding or scripting (e.g., HTML, Python, JavaScript, SQL) to enhance reporting, tagging, or content generation systems 
  • Support the creation of internal dashboards by integrating tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, and social channels  
  • Analyze marketing performance data and use AI tools to help summarize and surface actionable insights  
  • Assist in the evaluation and testing of generative AI platforms (video, text, voice, etc.) for use in marketing campaigns  
  • Conduct internal interviews and external research on how AI is being used across marketing and sales  
  • Contribute to the development of reports, playbooks, or training materials that make AI more accessible to internal teams  
  • Assist in SEO initiatives, including keyword research, content gap analysis, and testing AI-assisted workflows  
  • Support the broader marketing team with data organization, documentation, and performance reporting

  • Develop experience using generative AI tools in a campaign and content context  
  • Explore SEO strategy and understand how it fits into the broader digital marketing ecosystem

Qualifications

Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field  
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with a genuine interest in marketing technology and automation 
  • Comfortable with light development work and implementation—experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, or using APIs to automate or enhance marketing workflows 
  • Familiarity with platforms like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, HubSpot, and Salesforce; experience integrating data from these sources is a plus  
  • Passion for learning, experimenting, and implementing generative AI tools used in marketing—such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva Magic Studio, Synthesia, Runway, and others 
  • Exposure to SEO principles and interest in exploring AI-assisted SEO strategy  
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
