Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our People team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the recruiting lifecycle and contribute to shaping the future of talent in healthcare technology. You’ll support full-cycle recruitment efforts, with a strong focus on candidate sourcing, resume review, and talent pipeline development.

 

This is a full-time position that will span over the course of 10 weeks. The program will start Monday, June 2nd, 2024 and end Friday, August 8th.

What you will work on

  • Resume Screening & Evaluation:
    • Review incoming applications for open positions across departments (tech, operations, product, etc.)
    • Evaluate candidates based on job requirements and prepare candidate summaries for hiring managers
    • Identify red flags and standout qualities to help guide selection decisions
  • Candidate Sourcing & Outreach:
    • Use LinkedIn, Handshake, GitHub, and other platforms to identify and engage with qualified candidates
    • Draft compelling outreach messages and help maintain candidate pipelines
    • Track sourcing metrics and suggest improvements to increase response rates
  • Interview Coordination & Scheduling:
    • Assist with scheduling phone screens, virtual interviews, and follow-ups with hiring managers ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Special Projects & Initiatives:
    • Assist with targeted and specialized recruitment initiatives and tracking success of those
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives, such as optimizing job descriptions or refining screening rubrics
    • Support talent acquisition projects such as new applicant tracking system research

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Passion for recruitment, people operations, and healthcare technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using technology and tools like LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and ATS platforms
  • Previous HR/recruiting experience (internship, work-study, or coursework) is a plus
