Position Overview

We are seeking a collaborative and curious Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning. You'll work on end-to-end data science projects, from model development to deployment and maintenance.

Your Mission: Revolutionize patient access to therapy.

The Challenge: Navigating the complex world of healthcare bureaucracy often involves completing non-standardized forms with over 100,000 free-text questions. This process creates a significant barrier for patients seeking timely treatment.

  • Deploy models into production environments and maintain their performance over time
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into existing systems and infrastructure
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Stay current with emerging data science techniques and tools, continuously expanding your skill set
  • Monitor model performance and iterate on solutions based on feedback and changing business needs
  • Document methodologies and findings to enable knowledge sharing across the team

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a related analytical role
  • Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or other quantitative science discipline
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
  • Experience with machine learning modeling techniques (regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with MLOps practices including model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
  • Programming skills in Python, with experience in relevant libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practices
  • Experience working in collaborative development environments with engineering teams
  • Familiarity with big data tools and distributed computing frameworks
  • Experience with A/B testing and experimental design
