Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced product manager to contribute to the development and launch of our revolutionary pharmacy interoperability platform. This role collaborates closely with business leaders to support product strategy, roadmap development, and execution plans, providing an opportunity to help shape a product from its inception. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy product management, strategic thinking, and the ability to support the launch and scaling of an enterprise product. This role works closely with VP of Product and colleagues on the product and development teams to ensure alignment of a unified solution for strategy, interoperability, and technology.

What you will work on

Product Development & Delivery

  • Collaborate with integrated (Product, UX, Eng, QA) application teams to support development and delivery of services from concept to production deployment
  • Contribute to expanding the Clinical Decision Support capabilities of the ePrescribing Workflow
  • Support the formalization of processes for clinical input and testing of product lines for go-to-market readiness (feedback testing, clinical workflow, click reduction)
  • Assist in developing methodologies for measuring success of product line rollouts, including identifying metrics to evaluate success and/or failure from a clinical perspective

Thought Leadership

  • Represent our product capabilities at industry events and customer meetings as assigned
  • Stay current in the field of medical and pharmacy informatics as well as industry trends, regulatory implications and compliance standards
  • Drive market analysis and product outcomes with support from our Data Analytics team
  • Contribute to thought leadership content and product strategy discussions

Market Discovery, Evaluation, and Validation

  • Work closely with Corporate BD, business, and product segment leaders to engage target market segment customers and validate high-value use-cases for product capabilities
  • Support the development of customer engagement strategies and contribute to product roadmap decisions in coordination with business leaders
  • Apply your expertise to help the organization understand pharmacy-side technology and workflows
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree with additional post-graduate degree in a clinical field (RN, Pharmacy, Doctorate, etc.) highly desired

Experience & Leadership:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in product management within the pharmacy sector.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders

Product Management:

  • Demonstrated experience in product management with some team collaboration experience
  • Expertise in authoring product requirements and supporting product lifecycle management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strategic Planning and Vision:

  • Experience owning and executing go-to-market strategies and product vision development
  • Ability to understand and communicate how product features align with business objectives and market needs

Pharmacy Industry Expertise:

  • Strong industry knowledge of pharmacy business practices, including specialty pharmacy operations, customer service, and audit management of pharmacy IT systems
  • Direct experience with pharmacy management systems required
  • Understanding of point of sale systems, claims adjudication systems, and management of third-party relationships

Specialty Pharmacy Expertise:

  • Experience in specialty pharmacy practices with understanding of pharmacy operations and IT systems

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences

Mindset:

  • Entrepreneurial minded with strong problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements

  • 70% Desk work
  • 30% Remote travel to client sites, conferences, or internal team meetings

  • Competitive compensation, with a base salary of $145,000 - $170,000 (Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience)
